No we are not the same company, and Island Tour Centre is just a booking sales agent for K.S. WaterSports and our Dockyard Location tours. K.S. WaterSports has always been an independently owned and run business, but we decided to partner with Island Tour Centre in Dockyard who are now sales booking agents for K.S. WaterSports and all our Dockyard location tours, rentals and excursions. They handle all our Dockyard Location reservations for K.S. WaterSports. K.S. WaterSports is still operated independently and is not affiliated with Island Tour Centre. All emails that are sent to the email address come straight through to us directly.
This booking partnership was designed to give our guests an easier and simpler way to walk in and book their excursions, tours and rentals which depart from our Dockyard Cruise Port Location.
Our Hamilton, Southampton and St. George’s location activities, tours, rentals and boat charters are handled by K.S. WaterSports directly by calling (441)-232-4155.
You must show up at least a half an hour before your scheduled tour or rental time, unless otherwise stated on your reservation confirmation ticket / receipt!

See our locations page for information on how to get to any of our 4 locations, and please double check your confirmation email for details and check in times.

(If you’re group is running late then we will still require the driver of the rental boat to be at our facility 30 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time, to receive their boat orientation and instructions on boat safety and boat operation). Very Important!

In Bermuda it can be raining one second and twenty minutes later the sun can be out shining, so make sure you show up at our location on time and are ready to go in case the tour or rental does go out. (For boat rentals, pontoon rentals, kayaks & paddle board rentals – it is recommended to call us 1.5 to 2 hours before your scheduled rental time if the weather is looking bad. JET SKI F.A.Q’S
Yes there are. Even though our jet ski tours are similar in length, they explore completely different areas of the island and provide a very unique and fun experience. Please click on the individual Jet Ski Adventures to see the full information for each Jet Ski Adventure or Jet Ski Safari. All our Jet Ski Adventures are excellent and provide a fantastic way to see Bermuda from a unique and fun perspective.
(We offer several types and lengths of Jet Ski Adventures which depart from our Dockyard, Southampton, Hamilton and St. George’s locations daily)
It all depends on which Jet Ski Adventure you choose. Our regular Jet Ski Adventures are 75 minutes long and our Jet Ski Safaris are 2 & 3 hours long (Meaning driving time and being out on the water). Customized, private and longer Jet Ski Adventures are available upon request as well and is based on availability.
Up to Six(6) rental Jet Ski’s maximum per tour guide go out at any one time. This is to ensure that groups are able to ask questions and hear what their tour guide has to say and wants to point out. We can accommodate larger groups of seven(7) or more Jet Skis upon request. We have the largest amount of Jet Ski’s (60+) available than any other Jet Ski rental company in Bermuda, which means more availability and times for you to get out on the water and have fun.
By law, you must be 16 years or older to drive a Jet Ski in Bermuda. You can be any age (4 years and up) to participate as a passenger. All drivers who are under twenty one(21) years old or who look under the age of sixteen(16) will need a valid government photo ID or Passport for proof of age, in order to operate/drive a Jet Ski. All drivers 16 and 17 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian on tour with them and to sign off on their liability waivers upon arrival, in order to drive a jet ski on their own. No refunds will be given if someone twenty years old or younger arrives with no valid picture ID, ie. drivers license or passport only. (A scanned or printed passport picture/info page is acceptable too). No refund will be given if a minor 17 years or younger arrives for a jet ski tour without a parent or legal guardian to accompany them on tour and to sign their waivers.
Yes there are some restrictions for our Jet Ski Tours. Please see below for persons who may not be able to partake on our Jet Ski Adventures & Tours:
– Women who are 3 or more months pregnant.
– Children under 4 years old. (Parents should ensure that children 4 years and above can hold on to the drivers life vest straps while sitting behind the driver in the passenger position)
– Persons who have limited mobility.
– Persons who have had any major surgeries or operations that could be affected from Jet Skiing the activity or a high-speed ride (i.e. back, knee, leg, hip, shoulder, neck or arm injuries/surgeries should avoid this activity unless given the okay by your doctor/medical practitioner)
– Persons who have or who have had any heart related issues or seizure related issues.
– Persons who weigh 300lbs or more (due to safety reasons)
– Persons who do not have the strength to pull themselves back up onto their Jet Ski in a deep water boarding situation.
– Persons who have any hearing or vision impairments, or disabilities (due to safety reasons)
– Persons 60 years or older should avoid jet skiing and this activity unless they are in great physical health and have consulted with their doctor first.
– Persons must be able to hear properly and have good vision to operate a jet ski on tour. Hearing aids will get wet from minor splashing that can occur while driving or being on a jet ski, so please make sure that everyone in your party can hear properly without assistance or translating before signing up for these jet ski tours. Your safety and of others on tour is our top priority!
– Persons must have the basic understanding of the English language. Jet Ski Drivers MUST be able to speak and understand the English language fluently, no translating permitted. A detailed verbal safety orientation is provided to everyone by our staff prior to the tour departing. Our tour guides will also need to communicate with you several times while out on tour too.
* Please note that all participants will need to fill out and sign a liability waiver and safety card prior to partaking on any of our Jet Ski tours. Minors 17 years old and younger will have to have a parent or legal guardian sign off on their waivers at the time of arrival, along with accompanying their minors out on the jet ski tour.
The maximum weight limit (per person) allowed on a Jet Ski is 300lbs max. The reason for this is to ensure that you can get back up on the Jet Ski safely if you fall off or are in a deep water boarding situation. Boarding a Jet Ski from the deep water can be very difficult for even persons 250lbs or over.
For all our Jet Ski & Snorkel Safari tours, the maximum weight limit per person must not exceed 250lbs.
For double person Jet Ski’s or triple person Jet Ski’s, (meaning 2 persons on 1 Jet Ski or 1 adult and two small children on 1 triple Jet Ski), the maximum combined weight limit allowed is 375lbs. This weight limit ensures that persons can enjoy their Jet Ski adventure together and do not risk the constant battle of rolling over the ski and falling off over and over again, due to being over the 375lb maximum combined weight. Safety and fun is our top priority, and these weight restrictions ensure that all guests will have the maximum fun and adventure while on our Jet Ski tours. As a rule of thumb: The more passenger weight you add to a Jet Ski the harder it is for the driver to steer, control, and stay on the Jet Ski without tipping over or falling off into the water.
Beginners or persons who have not Jet Skied before or who haven’t Jet Skied for a very long time will have an easier and much better time and experience as a Single Jet Ski user – without any passengers, or as a double Jet Ski with a samller and lighter passenger on the back only, like a child or young adult.
Persons with experience driving a Jet Ski or who feel comfortable with driving a Jet Ski should be fine with a passenger on the back of their jet ski as long as they do not exceed the maximum combined weight of 375lbs.
Triple Jet Ski’s are only recommended for 1 adult and two small children (or) 2 adults and 1 small child as long as they do not exceed the combined maximum weight limit of 375lbs per Jet Ski.
Beginners and non experienced drivers should not consider renting a triple Jet Ski (meaning 2 passengers on the back of their ski). Triple Jet Ski’s can only be reserved by walk in or over the phone, (Not online).
Since this is a guided tour, are your Jet Ski Adventures & Tours slow or are they fairly fast paced?
Our Jet Ski Adventures & Tours are considered to be high-speed guided tours (35+mph minimum traveling speeds), but in no way are dangerous or unsafe at the speeds we travel at.
Our 4-Stroke Sea Doo and Yamaha jet skis can travel up to speeds of 50mph while on tour! With that being said there are many portions on the tour where we do have to slow down when entering bridges, narrow openings, shallow waters and during our stops.
The best way to describe if this Adventure is right for you is: if you are looking for a slow paced tour similar to the speed of what a tour boat or glass bottom boat would travel at (meaning under 20mph), then this is not the tour or adventure for you. Jet Ski’s are meant to be driven at speeds of around 35 mph or more for them to become fun, stable and to turn correctly.
No experience is required to participate on our Jet Ski Adventures. Beginners are welcomed. Instructions/Orientation will be provided to all participants and drivers before departing on their Jet Ski. Our tour guides will also be there to help assist you as well during the tour when needed.
Please keep in mind that for our Jet Ski Adventures and Jet Ski Safaris all drivers must be prepared to operate the Jet Ski’s at the same speeds as the Tour Guides and Group, and can expect to be traveling at minimum safe speeds of around 35-45mph while on these tours.
* These tours are not recommended for persons who have no experience driving any other types of motorized vehicles, and it is recommended that they should go as passengers when in doubt of being able to handle driving a Jet Ski at normal cruising speeds of around 35+mph.
Even though no experience is required to participate on our Jet Ski Adventures, beginners and novices should avoid having three persons on one Jet Ski because it can become extremely difficult to drive the Jet Ski and also risks you frequently capsizing and rolling over the ski, which is no fun for you or your passengers and could damage the jet ski. We only recommend 3 persons on 1 Jet Ski for one average sized adult (185 lbs or less) plus two children weighing less than 90lbs each. We like our customers to have fun while on tour with us, and this can be achieved better on a single or double Jet Ski normally. Please keep in mind that each jet ski has a maximum weight limit of 375lbs.
Generally you should bring a towel and a bathing suit. It is recommended that you are wearing your bathing suit prior to showing up for the tour due to the lack of changing facilities at our locations. Some other things to consider are waterproof cameras, sun block, sunglasses or swim goggles, and a small plastic bottle of water. It is not recommended to bring hats because they will not stay on during the tour. Sun tan lotion and glass beverage bottles are not permitted to be stored in our Jet Ski’s during the tour. We have dry lockable storage on our floating docks at all 4 of our watersports locations, which is suitable for small amounts of belongings and towels for when you return from the tour.
Absolutely! We specialize in jet ski groups of all sizes big or small, and from multiple of our locations too. K.S. WaterSports has over 60+ jet skis in its inventory at any one given time, plus our equipment is always new or in fairly new like condition.
Yes, it is by Bermuda law that all rental Jet Skis are accompanied by a tour guide in Bermuda. The guided tour however is a lot of fun and fast paced, and most people who are skeptical at first come back saying it was better than if they had gone out on their own. Nobody knows our island and waterways like we do, and we know all the best places to take our guests. Also from a safety stand point, Bermuda is surrounded with coral reefs that lie right below the surface sometimes and are hard to see, so by going on a tour with a tour guide will also ensure that you do not get into a situation and can just focus on having fun on the water while enjoying the gorgeous scenery and sites around you.
As much as we would like to say yes, due to changing weather/sea conditions and colder temperatures in the early parts of the year, sometimes we must alter routes and courses of our Jet Ski Adventures so that our customers have the best overall experience. The tour descriptions and routes listed on our website is where we mostly take our tours when weather conditions are good, which in Bermuda is almost all of the time.
We do offer an early bird discounted price for some of our jet ski tours departing from multiple locations. Please see our website and tour times for special discounted tours.
This is a good question. Our Jet Ski Adventures and Safaris are available to persons of all ages 4 years and older, HOWEVER, if a person in your party is 60 years or older then they must be in great health and be prepared to keep up with the group and the speeds we travel at on tour, which is between 35mph to 48mph. With this said, K.S. WaterSports does not recommend their Jet Ski tours for persons who are 60 years or older unless they are in great physical health and have had no heart or respiratory illnesses, no back or neck injuries/surgeries, and no loss or partial loss of their vision or hearing. This recommendation is for jet ski drivers and jet ski passengers who are 60 years or older.
* Please note that persons 60 years or older should consult with their local doctor prior to signing up for or participating in the activity of jet skiing. If a person is not able to pull themselves back up onto their own jet ski from a deep water boarding situation unassisted, then please do not sign them up for any Jet Ski tours. Your safety and their safety is our top priority.

Unfortunately we do not permit any of our rental equipment (meaning boat rentals, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, or snorkel gear) to be paid for with cash. All rental boats/equipment must be paid for and secured with a valid credit card (MasterCard, Amex, or Visa Card accepted). This credit card will also be used to secure the required damage deposit upon renting, unless you would like to use a different credit card upon arrival.
Yes we do. A $500 amount will be held against your credit card upon your rental, and will be released at the end of your rental providing that the equipment and boat was returned in the same condition as you rented it, and nothing was damaged, lost or stolen. All drivers/renters must provide a valid Visa, Amex, or MasterCard credit card to use as a damage deposit, and are responsible for all equipment and the boat while renting. You will also be required to sign the damage agreement and a liability waiver upon your arrival. A K.S. WaterSports employee will check over the rental boat upon your return to the dock/pier.
At this current time you can rent boats from our Hamilton, Southampton, Dockyard and St. George’s locations. Guests arriving on cruise ships at Kings Wharf, Heritage Wharf, or at the City of Hamilton, should look at renting a boat from our nearest location to their cruise port, when available and depending on your rental boat choice.
Guests unsure of which location to book and want to discover more on the water during their rental time should look at our Hamilton location which gives you the added benefit of seeing more landmarks and wonderful sites around Bermuda and its harbors. Also for Dockyard cruise ship guests you have the convenience of using the Sea Express Fast Ferry service to Hamilton which departs from Kings Wharf and Heritage Wharf cruise ship terminals.
Depending on which rental boat you choose will determine the overall total person capacity.

All of our boat rentals come with a detailed map of Bermuda and its waterways, plus we also include our own detailed laminated map which outlines key spots, nearby landmarks and amazing places and things for you to do and see. Yes you can. Actually public holidays are quite popular when it comes to our boat rentals. We do charge slightly more on bank holidays. (Advance Recommendations are highly recommended)
Depending on which of our rental boat locations you rent from, determines where you can go with your boat rental.

The eastern side of Bermuda has many beaches, old shipwrecks, turtle spotting areas, forts, snorkeling areas, sandbars and more to explore and enjoy. Boats rented from our St. George’s Location must not go past Flatts Village & Inlet and are not permitted on Bermuda’s South Shore or Southern Coastline or in offshore waters.

For our 23′ Pontoon Boat Rentals, the driver must have previous boat driving experience and basic boating knowledge. Pontoon Boat Rentals are not permitted for first time boat drivers!

Please ensure that you bring the rental boat back to our facility on time and plan accordingly.
As long as you are not within the 48 hour or holiday 7 day cancellation period, you have the opportunity to cancel your rental with no penalty. We strongly recommend for you not to cancel your boat rental due to weather predictions and upcoming forecasts, because very often the forecast is incorrect and the day might be beautiful and great on the water. Also weather and sea conditions in one area of the island may be different from our area during the time of your rental. So this is why we wait till the day of to make a final decision. Our refund policy states that guests will be refunded in full if they cannot go out on the water because of bad weather or if the water conditions are considered to be unsafe and dangerous.
The best time to make the final decision is within 1.5 to 2 hours of the start of your rental. This way we will have the most accurate forecast.
Our rental boats are fairly quick and easy to control and maneuver, and will get you to and from places in a reasonable amount of time. K.S. WaterSports has some of the best quality rental boats on the water, and all our boats have quiet 4-stroke engines on them.
Rental boats that are near the maximum passenger weight capacity of the vessel will affect boat speed and performance though.
Maximum weight limit per boat must not exceed the manufacturer recommendations. (For safety reasons).
Depending on which rental boat you choose will determine the overall total person and weight capacity.
Our 16’ Boston Whaler boats carry up to 4 average (185lb) persons but K.S. WaterSports recommends 4 (185lb) adults and 1 small (80lb) child maximum for best overall boat performance and comfort.
Our 13’ Boston Whaler boats carry up to 2 average (185lb) persons but K.S. WaterSports recommends 2 (185lb) adults and 1 small (80lb) child maximum for best overall boat performance and comfort.
Our 23’ Pontoon Boats carry up to 10 average (185lb) persons maximum onboard for best overall boat performance and comfort. Should some persons in your group be over the average weight limit then please ensure your total passenger capacity is reduced and is under 10 persons onboard.
(All rental boats perform based on passenger capacity. The more weight a boat has or carries, will affect its overall speed and performance. All our rental boats have brand new 4-stroke engines on them and our rental boats are practically band new and in great working condition).

PARASAILING FAQ’S
All persons already booked on the K.S. WaterSports Parasailing Adventure & Eco Tour must be at our location no later than a half an hour before their scheduled departure time.
For our Dockyard pickup location – You will need to go to the “Dockyard Watersports Centre” in Dockyard, located near to the Dockyard Ferry Terminal and directly across the street from the Bonefish Bar & Grill.
For our Hamilton pickup location – You will need to go to “Barr’s Bay Park Dock” located near the Hamilton Ferry Terminal.
Yes that is true. Parasailing during our summer seasonal months is operated from our Dockyard location/branch seven days per week, and also from our Hamilton location/branch two to three days per week. The easiest and shortest way to travel to either location is by Fast Ferry. See the “Sea Express” Ferry schedule, here.
(Guests who have rented mopeds or rental cars can travel to either location easily with plenty of parking available)
Normally you will be up in the air for around 8-10 minutes. Even though this seems like a short time, it will feel like an eternity once you are flying high in the sky.
For our Parasailing Adventure guests can expect to be on the boat between 60-75 minutes.
For our Parasailing Adventure & Eco Tour guests can expect to be on the boat for up to 2 hours total, depending on the groups size. After everyone has flown all guests receive a 30-minute sightseeing eco tour of some of the best places to see in Bermuda by water.
Please see the Rates page on our website for pricing on our “Parasailing Adventure” and “Parasailing Adventure & Eco Tour”.
Our Parasail boat “Thrill Seeker” can take a maximum of 12 persons at any one given time.
Our Parasail boat “How High” can take a maximum of 10 persons at any one given time.
We use an independent harness that fits adults and children of all sizes. We can fly two or three people at one time depending on the total weight of all persons and wind conditions. An added benefit is that you are able to see a lot more when you are secured in a harness as opposed to a sit down chair.
The maximum weight limit per person must not exceed 300lbs, and if flying double tandem or triple tandem (meaning 2 persons or 3 persons together) then the maximum total combined weight allowed is 325lbs. Children weighing less than 100lbs must fly double tandem with an adult or another person, for safety reasons.
Yes they can, but keep in mind that both or all persons cannot exceed 325lbs (combined weight), and the wind direction that day can vary the total maximum weight limit allowed. In the end the Boat Captain will determine whether 2 or 3 people can fly together. Safety is our top priority!
Triple Tandem is available, but the maximum combined weight limit still must not exceed 325lbs. Triple tandem is mostly used for lighter adults or small children who want to fly together.
Normally you do not get wet when parasailing, but some minor splashing can occur while on the boat depending on water conditions. It is recommended that all persons partaking on this Adventure wear their bathing suit and bring a towel with them for when they return. Also due to limited amounts of storage space on the boat, please bring fewer amounts of belongings with you, no large bags, big items or portable beach coolers etc. We do however have a lockable storage area available on the dock.
All take offs and landings are done right on the back platform of our Parasail boat, and all take offs and landings are very gentle and easy, no jerking or slamming down of the body or legs. Basically we will do all the work for you, so sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful sights around you.
(You can also find K.S. WaterSports parasailing videos on our website which shows how persons take off and land)
Yes you can. It would be advisable to bring a waterproof camera or a camera with a strap that can go around your neck or wrist.
* Please be advised that bringing any personal belongings with you or up in the air will be at your own risk. If you like, our crew can take a few pictures of you parasailing with your camera, if you rather not take it up with you.
Yes it is possible but Watcher space is limited onboard per trip. When making your parasailing reservation online or over the phone, you can then add your watchers to your reservation if watcher space is still available.
* Please note that there is a fee of $60.00 per Watcher.
Yes we do offer private charter parasailing options for groups up to 12 persons at a time. Please give us a call so we can arrange your private parasailing charter for you.

Not at all. This adventure is fun for all ages 5 years and older who want some fun and adventure on the water.
Yes persons will get wet on the banana float. This adventure is all about some splashing and dashing on the ocean while the banana is being pulled by our ski boat.
There are straps for each person to hold on to as we twist, zip and turn on the water.
Yes this is a safe activity. Even though the banana float is being pulled at safe speeds with persons on it, the float is quite stable and built for this type of fun action on the ocean.
The banana float is soft and bouncy to sit on which adds to the fun of going through wakes and zipping across the water.

Kayak Rentals FAQ's
Our kayak rentals are perfect for beginners and the experienced kayaker. You do not need to have previous kayaking experience to rent a kayak with us. We are happy to show you the basics so you can get out on the water and explore.
Kayak rentals are currently available from our Hamilton and St. George’s locations.
All kayak renters must be 16 years or older to rent a kayak on their own. Families with children can participate as long as they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All kayak renters 16 years or older must bring a valid form of Photo ID with them.
Unfortunately we do not permit any of our rental equipment (meaning boat rentals, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, or snorkel gear) to be paid for with cash. All rental equipment must be paid for and secured with a valid credit card (MasterCard or Visa Card accepted). This credit card will also be used to secure the required damage deposit upon renting, unless you would like to use a different credit card upon arrival.
Yes you should. Our kayak rentals are popular throughout the year so it is highly recommended to book your kayak in advance to avoid disappointment. All kayak reservations must be secured with a credit card.
There is a 24hr cancellation policy for all kayak rentals. Public Holidays/Bank Holidays also require 24hrs advance notice to cancel a reservation.
Yes we do. A $500 amount will be held against your credit card upon your rental, and will be released at the end of your rental providing that the rental equipment was returned in the same condition as you rented it, and nothing was damaged, lost or stolen. All renters must provide a valid Visa or MasterCard credit card to use as a damage deposit, and are responsible for all equipment and the kayak while renting. You will also be required to sign the damage agreement and a liability waiver upon your arrival. A K.S. WaterSports employee will check over the kayak upon your return to the dock/pier.
Depending on which kayak you choose will determine the overall total person capacity.
Our double Ocean kayaks carry up to 2 average 185lb persons, or 1 child and one adult.
Our single Ocean kayaks carry one person up to 250lb.
Our Glass Bottom kayaks carry one person up to 250lb and are perfect for discovering underwater coral reefs and marine species.
There is a minimum rental requirement of 2 hours, but guests can rent for additional hours or by the half day or full day out on the water.
Yes there is.
- All kayakers must be able to swim
- Kayakers must take a life vest with them or be wearing their life vest (life vests are provided by K.S. WaterSports)
- Persons must not exceed 250lbs to rent a kayak
- All renters must be in good health and good physical shape to be able to rent a kayak
- Please note that fishing is not permitted on any of our kayak rentals
Yes we do. All kayak renters will get an orientation / quick lesson from a K.S. WaterSports representative on how to use their kayak in a safe manner, plus where the best places are to go to make the most of your time out on the water.
As long as you are not within the 24 hour cancellation period, you have the opportunity to cancel your rental with no penalty. We strongly recommend for you not to cancel your kayak rental due to weather predictions and upcoming forecasts, because very often the forecast is incorrect and the day might be beautiful and great on the water.
The best time to make the final decision is within 2 hours of the start of your kayak rental. This way we will have the most accurate forecast.
Stand-up Paddleboard Rentals FAQ's
WHALE WATCHING FAQ'S
Peak whale watching season in Bermuda is from around mid-March through to the 2nd week of April. During this time, we see humpback whales as they move past the island on their journey to cooler waters up north, and sometimes we even spot dolphins too.
No time of day is better than another. Go when it fits into your schedule best is our recommendation.
As much as we would like to say yes, sometimes whales can be a bit difficult to find offshore depending on the time of the year and sea conditions. With that said, this is very rare that we would go offshore and not see whales during the months of March and April each year. (To date we have always spotted whales on every whale watching tour during the months of March and April)
Many people suffer from motion sickness. Our recommendation is to take gravol or something similar for motion sickness prior to your whale watching tour – and as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
If you really are prone to sea sickness then you may want to re-think about going whale watching offshore. Even on a calm day the seas can be swelly and the boat can be slow moving from side to side at times.
Our captains have their own network of friends, land spotters, and local fisherman they rely on for tips about where the whales are on any given day. Combined, these networks give us a high percentage of sightings to see whales on our tours.
Wherever the whales are! Sometimes that might be out towards the southern side of Bermuda, or down to the eastern end of the island, or even far west near the challenger banks area. In recent years we have spotted several whales 3-5 miles off Bermuda and very close to our southern shoreline. This trend seems to be the norm now each year and our whale watching tours and charters don’t always have to go 8-10 miles offshore to spot whales.
Like everything on the water, whales move constantly and we always move around offshore to find where the whales are, so you can get the best expereince.
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen

- Flat shoes preferably with a rubber bottom, such as sneakers or tennis shoes

All of our whale watching tours are approximately 4 to 5 hours long. This way we can almost always get to the whales, spend time with them and get back within that time frame. (Please see the tour description for length of time).
* Private whale watching charters / tours can be customized to clients liking.
